Robert Templeton, CKA®

Robert Templeton began his career in financial services in 1995. As his career has evolved, Robert developed strategies for his clients that are the foundation for his practice today. He continually seeks to increase his skill set for the betterment of his clients, and is certified as a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®).

Robert graduated from of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College with an associate degree in mechanical engineering. He also earned a diploma in Biblical Studies, and is an ordained minister, currently pastoring in his hometown.

Robert has served on numerous boards across his professional career. His passion is for anything related to spreading the Gospel, as seen in his service with the Child Evangelism Fellowship State Board. He has also served as a board member for Livingston Christian Academy, the local board of CEF in his community, and was the head coach of the Orangeburg Christian Academy High School Baseball team. He is a former Trustee for Coastal Carolina University, a former board member for the Orangeburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and a past member and chairperson for the Kiwanis Club of Orangeburg.

Robert loves a good book, planting flowers, riding a Harley, and playing music. He is married to Linda, since 1989. They have two sons, Ethan and Ryan, both of whom have added to the family by marrying their sweethearts, Kelsi and Alexia. He has two grandchildren, Hazle and Adaline.

Ryan Templeton, CFP®,CKA®

Ryan resides in Chapin, South Carolina with his wife, Alexia, and their two daughters, Hazle and Adaline. Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Before entering the financial service industry, he was employed as a firefighter for the North Charleston Fire Department. Ryan graduated from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Minor in Criminal Justice. Ryan and his family attend Gateway Baptist Church in Irmo. He enjoys spending time with his family, going for walks with his family, and spending time on the lake.

Tim Albergotti, CEPA®

Tim resides in Pomaria, SC, with his wife, Abby, and two children, Kinsley and Beckham. He and his family attend Crossroads Church in Columbia, SC.

Prior to joining the Templeton Group, Tim was co-head of operations at Dealer Specialties of South Carolina. Tim brings with him over a decade of experience in business operations and client relations.

When Tim is not servicing his clients, you can find him training for half marathons, competing in CrossFit competitions, or walking their four-legged friend, Marley.

Ruth Barwick is a financial advisor assistant, providing high-quality support to team advisors and. She started her career at First Citizens Bank in 1985. Over the years she has worked as an administrative assistant at a college and manufacturing company. Ruth is also a certified event and wedding planner. Her interests include travel, music, reading, and being with friends and family.

Chris Needs

Senior Research Analyst

Chris joined Good Life in 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Administration in Finance and Economics from Temple University. As a Senior Research Assistant for Good Life Financial Advisors, he is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of investment portfolios and securities trading. In addition to this, Chris assists Noah Brooks with investment research.

CMT, CIPM®, Director of Investments

Noah is the Director of Investment at Good Life of Nova. Noah brings 23 years of investment services experience and six years as Director of Investments at Good Life Advisors. Noah’s experience revolves around portfolio management, due diligence, security selection, technical analysis and strategic asset allocation. Noah is a Chartered Market Technician, CMT® and holds a Certificate of Investment Performance Measurement™, CIPM® from the CFA Institute. He is an active member of the CMT association and the Philadelphia CFA society.

As Director of Investments for Good Life, Noah proposes investment strategy including asset allocation, and investments based on a comprehensive research methodology.  Noah provides the advisors at Good Life Financial Advisors with valuable analytic and strategic insight and works to keep the team up to date with important market and economic commentary. He is co-chair of the investment committee.
